TECH PLANTER Indonesia 2023: Awarded to Greenlabs, developing non-toxic & safe bio-plasticisers

Real Tech Singapore Pte. Ltd, a subsidiary of Real Tech Holdings, was appointed as one of the judges at the 2023 TECH PLANTER Indonesia, held on 20th May 2023. Out of the 45 teams that applied, the Real Tech Singapore Award was presented to Greenlabs (PT Inovasi Hijau Indonesia), developing non-toxic & safe bio-plasticisers made from bio-fatty oil for Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC).

Since its inception in 2016 and official establishment in 2021, Greenlabs has emerged as a trailblazer in the field of bio-based chemicals. Born out of cutting-edge research labs at prestigious universities, they have garnered tremendous support from BPDPS (Indonesian Oil Palm Estate Fund Agency), LPDP (Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education), and Dp Chemicals Pte, Ltd. Their unwavering commitment lies in spearheading research, development, and production of bio-based chemicals, with a vision to foster a thriving and sustainable bioeconomy. The TECH PLANTER event in Indonesia, organized by Leave a Nest Malaysia, shared active participation from a wide spectrum of stakeholders, including local accelerators, government institutes, investors and incubators.
