【RTHD Singapore】 Real Tech Award Presented to Suratec for Developing Healthcare Predictive Analytics and Biosensors for Better Life at TECH PLANTER Thailand 2023

Thailand, 22nd July – RTHD Singapore Pte. Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Realtech Holdings Pte. Ltd. (hereafter referred to as “Realtech Singapore”), served as a distinguished judge at the prestigious TECH PLANTER in Thailand 2023 Demo Day, which took place on 22nd July 2023. Among the nine exceptional finalist teams, the coveted Realtech Singapore Award was bestowed upon Suratec.

Mr. Murayama, Director of Realtech Singapore and a member of the jury, expressed the rationale behind conferring the Realtech Award to Suratec:

” In Southeast Asia, 90 million people battle diabetes and its associated complications. Alarmingly, half of these cases remain undiagnosed or under-monitored, culminating in irreversible ulcers and preventable amputations. Suratec emerges as a beacon of hope with its affordable, practical solution that tackles this dire situation head-on”

Organized by Leave a Nest Singapore, the event witnessed the participation of nine finalists and six lightning teams, meticulously chosen from 35 entries, pitched and presented ideas and technologies in Bangkok, Thailand. The event witnessed the active engagement of finalists and lightning teams, while local partners, including accelerators, incubators, and venture capitalists, contributed to spirited discussions on forging stronger ties between Japan and Southeast Asia. TECH PLANTER in Thailand 2023 Demo Day was a great chance for the Deep Tech start-ups to showcase their work and how closely knitted they are within this ecosystem together with the corporations and government sectors.
